POSSIBLE LEED RECERTIFICATON SCENARIOS

Project teams considering recertification under the LEED-EB rating system typically fall into one of the three scenarios laid out below.  This fact sheet provides information about the typical timeline for recertification under each scenario, the amount of data required for submittal, and the frequency with which important audits and surveys need to be conducted.  Whatever your situation, The Compass Group can provide the information and insight needed to make LEED recertification as smooth as possible.

The above scenarios were developed as a high-level representation of three common scenarios facing buildings seeking LEED-EB recertification.  These were developed based on The Compass Group’s understanding of and experience with LEED-EB recertification.  The tables were created by The Compass Group based on information in the USGBC’s LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance Recertification Guide published in April 2013.
